A Walk In Peel
Spent too much of the holiday in doors doing nothing so decided today to get out so we visited Peel and had a cracking walk which certainly woke us up. For the first time since coming to live on the island we walked the full length of the breakwater and whilst there stood to watch a couple of seals playing about in the water. It was also only the second time that I'd crossed the new pedestrian bridge which makes getting to and from Fenella beach and Peel castle a hell of a lot quicker. This is part of the water retention scheme which leaves water in the harbour at low tide and which in my opinion improves Peel no end. There is talk that a similar scheme is going to be implemented here in Ramsey. The sooner the better I think. When I was at the castle side of the bridge I took about 20 pics in the hope of producing a 360 degree panorama pic. When getting back home and trying to create a decent pic I could only use ten of them because of the brilliant sunshine but I still think it looks pretty good
